Lesiba joined Harith in 2007. He is one of the founding investment directors of Harith. Lesiba is a seasoned investment professional with over 15 years of private equity infrastructure investment experience. During his private equity career he has invested and grown businesses across the African continent. Lesiba played various roles within Harith. Between 2011 and 2014 he served in the Group CEO’s office focusing on strategic growth initiatives. He led the initiative to establish ARM-Harith Infrastructure Limited (ARMHIIL), the fund manager of ARM-Harith Infrastructure Fund (ARMHIF). ARMHIIL is a joint venture between Harith and Asset & Resource Management Holding Company Limited (ARM) of Nigeria. ARMHIF is a USD250 million infrastructure fund established in 2015 whose mandate is to develop and finance infrastructure projects in west Africa. Lesiba also led the initiative to establish Eastern and Southern African Infrastructure Fund Managers (ESAIF) a joint venture between Harith and PTA Bank [now known as Trade and Development Bank (TDB)]. The mandate of ESAIF was to raise and manage the COMESA infrastructure fund to service and develop east Africa. Lesiba was subsequently appointed as an interim CEO of ESAIF. The COMESA infrastructure fund initiative was later aborted by the COMESA countries.
Prior to joining Harith Lesiba held senior executive positions in various firms including Telkom, Vodacom RSA, and Vodacom DRC.
