Souleymane Keita joined Harith in 2007 as an Investment Director. Over his tenure, he has been instrumental in originating, structuring, and leading several landmark infrastructure transactions across Africa in the ICT, transport, and energy sectors — notably Main One (Nigeria), the Henri Konan Bédié Bridge (Côte d’Ivoire), and the Lake Turkana Wind Power Project (Kenya).
Before joining Harith, Souleymane served as a Senior Investment Officer at the African Development Bank (AfDB), where he was actively involved in infrastructure project financing and private sector development initiatives across the continent.
With more than two decades of experience in infrastructure investment, Souleymane has built a strong track record in complex project structuring, stakeholder management, and value creation across multiple African markets.
Souleymane’s experience includes stints at Dexia Public Finance, Paribas Affaires Industrielles and Lazard Frères. He also served on the boards of various companies, including SeaWolf (Nigeria), Aldwych (UK), Lake Turkana Wind Power (Kenya), and Main One (Nigeria). He is a Trustee on various charitable institutions which provide resources to disabled children and orphanages.
Souleymane is a Commander of the National Order of Côte d’Ivoire.
