Viwe Didishe is a seasoned in-house legal professional with extensive experience across development finance, SMME support, venture capital, and the financial services sector.
She began her legal career by completing her articles before joining Nedbank Commercial Property Finance (CIB), where she gained in-depth experience in property development financing across residential, commercial, industrial, and retail sectors. She also played a key role in structuring customised loans for listed-property companies, providing funding to a significant portion of JSE-listed entities.
In August 2015, Viwe joined the National Empowerment Fund (NEF) as a Legal Advisor, where she was involved in venture capital transactions and funding for SMMEs. Her dedication and legal acumen earned her a promotion to Senior Legal Advisor during her four-year tenure.
Viwe joined African Rainbow Capital in August 2019 as Legal Counsel and was promoted to Senior Legal Counsel in January 2022. In this role, she is responsible for drafting, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of commercial transactions, including M&A, corporate finance agreements, restructurings, asset disposals, share repurchases, and other complex legal matters.
